Spain is famous for having more than 20,000 castles...but how many language students in Barcelona get to see any of them?
A group of students from Speakeasy BCN did when they enjoyed an amazing day trip exploring Tossa de Mar on June 8th.
This beautiful town is 100km north of Barcelona on the Costa Brava in the province of Girona.
Partnering with Barcelife, our students experienced the history and beauty of this medieval town. The day was filled with sunshine, exploration, and fun activities.
Why we love day trips with Barcelife
The main highlight was the stunning old stone medieval town and incredible coastline.
Students got to explore the remains of Roman and Iberian settlements. The weather was perfect for spending time on the sandy beach...and a dip in the Mediterranean sea!
We sampled traditional pastries and visited the 17th century castle. The view over the bay was amazing. Walking along the beach promenade was super relaxing. And then we had a mountain to a hidden beach with cobblestone streets addubg charm to the adventure.
Barcelife gave our students a chance to see the history and culture outside of Barcelona.
It was a perfect blend of learning and fun – just how we like it at Speakeasy BCN!
