Overview
Our Long-term Spanish courses are a great option if you want to learn Spanish and enjoy living in Barcelona for a longer period of time. These courses meet the requirements to apply for a student visa in Spain.
In our Long-term Immersive Spanish program, you’ll study 10 hours of general Spanish each week and complement these with 10 hours of Spanish cultural activities and workshops. These immersion workshops offer practical activities that allow you to actively apply what you’ve learned in class. Including interactive games, Spanish tutoring to review what you've learned in class, pronunciation, workshops about current events, popular culture, history and more! Each week you’ll have a variety of topics to choose from.
General Spanish classes are held 2 hours each day, Monday through Friday, in the afternoon either from 13:30h – 15:30h or 17:30h - 19:30h. Complimentary Spanish Immersion workshops are held from 15:30h – 17:30h each day. In your general Spanish classes, you will cover all aspects of Spanish language learning each day: speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Then, you’ll have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned beyond the books and classroom.
From A1 to A2.1 levels your general Spanish course will be supplemented with the Spanish workshops described above (12 weeks), once you reach the A2.2 level, your general Spanish course will be supplemented with Conversation and Business classes.
This program is intended for those who would like to learn the practicalities of Spanish language learning while immersing themselves in all aspects of the Spanish language and culture. You’ll have the opportunity to absorb the key language skills that will make a difference to your ability to communicate in Spanish with ease.

Apply what you’ve learned beyond the books and classroom
I studied Spanish for 3 months at Speakeasy. I loved it. The professionalism of the teachers and atmosphere of the classes and the school. There are also projectors in the classes that make the way of teaching very interesting and more comfortable. In addition, the receptionists are friendly and always help you. And of course many thanks to my favorite teacher Verónica. For me she was the best. All the classes were always very interesting and fun, we talked, we played. She explains the grammar perfectly. I will definitely return to improve my level of Spanish. I recommend everyone to this school in Barcelona!
