Overview
Our Evening Spanish course takes place twice a week, two hours per day either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 20:00, giving you plenty of time to work, study, or enjoy putting your Spanish skills to test in Barcelona during the day.
Evening Spanish classes are ideal for people who want to combine learning Spanish with working or studying full-time, while still making consistent language-learning progress. With this course, you will progress one mini-level in 8 weeks and one full level in 16 weeks. The minimum booking for this course is 4 weeks.

This course requires a one-time registration fee of 65 Euros per person. First set of books are included in this cost.

Teaching Spanish is our passion
My husband and I spent 5 weeks with Speakeasy learning Spanish. We started at the very beginning (0 Spanish) and have learned so much in our short month in Barcelona.
These classes were a great investment of time and money, and we truly feel that we got the most out of our experience. Additionally, Speakeasy is comprised of a number of people from all backgrounds and ages, so we were able to make a number of friends and really find a great community here.
The staff of Speakeasy are also incredibly helpful, and are always available for questions. Having the added support of the Speakeasy team really made our time in Barcelona all the better. We were also so grateful to have the opportunity to partake in their regular group outings and trips organized by Speakeasy. Yes. All our teachers are native Spanish speakers from Spain. They all have a university degree, special training in ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) and experience teaching Spanish to foreigners.

Yes! We have a range of ages at Speakeasy BCN so you will never feel out of place, whether you’ve just finished school or have decades of work experience. The average age of a student at Speakeasy BCN is 28.

Yes, you can. Booking a double room allows you to share your room with someone else. If you want to stay in a double room you'll need to book together with the friend/family member you will be sharing with. Each of you will have you’re your own single bed. You are responsible to find your roommate, we do not provide the service to match students together.

Yes. You can book your course week by week if you choose. Just keep in mind that you risk losing your spot in the same class if the class has previously been reserved by other students. Keep in mind that discounts are applied up from four weeks booked at a once.

Yes! If you give us one weeks’ notice, you can switch to a different schedule or re-evaluate your situation and move to a different class. See an overview of our Spanish courses here.
