    We are going on a day trip to visit two unique locations in Catalunya on Saturday, the 9th.
    Firstly, we will explore charming Girona, a town with more than two thousand years of history. We will have a guided tour around the Barri Vell (Old Quarter) where some of Game of Thrones was filmed!
    After lunch, we will drive to the most beautiful medieval town in the region - Besalú. We will see a well-preserved spectacular Romanesque bridge, the church of Sant Pere and the house of Cornellà, and its Jewish quarter.

  • Yes! We have a range of ages at Speakeasy BCN so you will never feel out of place, whether you’ve just finished school or have decades of work experience. The average age of a student at Speakeasy BCN is 28.

  • Yes! We have a very international student body at Speakeasy BCN. You can choose to take a part-time Spanish course in Barcelona while studying or working, or if you take a long-term Spanish course, we can help you get a student visa in Barcelona.

  • Yes, all our teachers are native Spanish speakers. They all have a university degree, special training in ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) and experience teaching Spanish to foreigners.

  • Yes! If you give us one weeks’ notice, you can switch to a different schedule or re-evaluate your situation and move to a different class. See an overview of our Spanish courses here.

  • We don’t offer trial classes because it can be disruptive to the class dynamics, and it's important for us to maintain high-quality learning experiences for our students. However, you can enroll in a Spanish course for one week and then extend your study for as long as you like.

  • Yes! We have over 15 different Spanish courses to choose from, including intensive and super-intensive study programs.

  • The first step is reserving yourself a spot on your desired Spanish course. Start the process by filling out our Pre-Booking form. (If you’re an international student, it’s a requirement that you have paid your long-term course in full before applying for a student visa.)
