This Friday, 08/05 at 18h, our teacher, Néstor, will give us a vision of the art, architecture, gastronomy and culture of Barcelona ​​through the film directed by Woody Allen, Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Join us this Wednesday at 18.30h with Speakeasy´s very own Joan in a virtual trip to Cuba! He will guide us through one of the most peculiar countries of America via its lesser-known landscapes, music, its revolution, a writer and some typical drinks.

This Friday, May 1st, is Día Internacional del Trabajador (Labor day in some countries). Join our very own Laura (this Wednesday, 29/04 at 17.30h) as she takes us through the history of this international day in Barcelona from its origins to its significance and representation in current times.

In this virtual culture class we will learn about Miguel de Cervantes and Federico García Lorca. Our Speakeasy teacher, Laura, will enlighten us on these two Spanish writers widely regarded as the greatest writers in the Spanish language.

Join us this Wednesday 01/04 at 18.00h with Gina for a virtual get together focused on body conditioning, stretching and yoga. We will move our bodies (no equipment or experience necessary!), learn some new vocabulary, and enjoy a short introduction to yoga by one of our own students, Polina!

We are going to Sant Medir festival, also known as 'the sweetest festival' because of the 60 tons of sweets that are given away during the colourful Sant Medir procession with over 120 horses taking part.

One of the best viewpoints to watch the sun go down? The Bunkers del Carmel! We will go up to the top of the city on Saturday afternoon and spend our time there chatting, snacking and watching the golden light descend over Barcelona.

We´re going to the Sitges Carnival! Get yourself a costume together because this will be EPIC. We'll get our party juices flowing at Bar D9 in Barcelona. Then, we'll go to Sitges by bus and have some free time to party in the streets and watch the famous parade!
