EXCURSION: MONTSERRAT AND SITGES
€30On the 18th of April, a public holiday in Spain, we are making a day trip to visit two of the most beautiful locations near Barcelona - Montserrat monastery and the town of Sitges. We will take a private bus in the morning and return in the evening. During the excursion, we will have a Spanish-speaking guide. We will see the abbey of the Order of Saint Benedict located on the mountain of Montserrat with twelve centuries of history and the best views in the area. Afterwards, we are going to visit the town of Sitges, famous by its charming beaches, fishermen's houses and cathedral.

Parc de Laberint d'Horta
€2This Wednesday, we will get lost in one of the most beautiful gardens in Barcelona - Parc de Laberint d'Horta.This Park was created in the end of 18th century as a garden in collaboration with Italian architect Domenico Bagutti. Two centuries after, it became the oldest conserved park with a labyrinth in the city. Once Neoclassical, with a slightly Italian look, it later adopted a Romantic style.

Ruta: Barrio Gótico
Free eventAs the weather is improving, we are going to enjoy a walking tour in the heart of Barcelona - the Gothic Quarter. This time only, it will be completely free for our students! We will visit the most important enclaves of the old town of Barcelona, learn more about its history and how people lived in that time. The tour will be in Spanish, so you will be able to practice your listening skills! We will finish our tour in a tearoom and enjoy an exquisite Arabic tea together.

Casa Vicens
€17This Wednesday, we will visit the first major project of the greatest Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudí. This lesser-known summer house of the Vicens family was built between 1883 and 1885 and boasts an orient style, which was very popular during this period. However, you can begin to see the talent of Gaudi and the seed of his genius designs that influenced later works.

Picasso Museum

It holds one of the most extensive collections of artworks by the 20th-century Spanish artist, Pablo Picasso. Candlelight Coldplay tribute
€26We are going to enjoy a Coldplay tribute concert performed by a talented pianist, Laura Andrés. What's more is the spectacular candlelight location where it will be held. She will cover the Coldplay hits like Clocks, Don’t Panic, Paradise, Viva la Vida and much more of your favorites! This popular event takes place in the spectacular modernist location of the Estación de Francia, inaugurated by Alfonso XIII in 1929.

The Batman
€9We are going to the cinema to watch one of the most-awaited major releases of the year – The Batman. The cast is spectacular - Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz and Jeffrey Wright. It will be shown in English (original language) with subtitles in Spanish. This is an excellent way to learn new words in Spanish. Come enjoy an end-of-the-week cinema escape with us!

Excursion to Montpellier & Nimes

Montpellier is one of the most iconic tourist destinations in France, and home to an astonishing selection of attractions, activities and events. Nîmes is full of beautiful corners, although the legacy of the Romans is so magnificent that we could almost say that it overshadows everything else. Not for nothing is Nîmes called French Rome.

Barcelona Christmas Market
Free eventWe are going to visit the oldest and most well-known Christmas fair in the city- Santa Llùcia. This market has been held since 1786 next to Barcelona’s Cathedral. Girona, Dali, Besalu
€25We are going on a day trip to visit three unique locations in Catalunya on Sunday the 12th. Before lunch, we will explore the most beautiful medieval town of the region - Besalú. After that, we will go to Figueres, the town of Salvador Dali. The last location of the day will be one of the major Catalan cities - Girona. We will have a guided tour around the city and explore a local Christmas Market.
